Ashley N. Baker was born Dec. 13, 1989 in Chicago, IL. Before transferring to Jackson State University, she received an associates degree from Triton College. Ashley became a part of S.C.E.N.E. 69 Fall 2011. S.C.E.N.E. 69's motto is, "God doesn't always chose the qualified, but God always qualifies the chosen."
Holding the major responsibility of being the stage manager of their new member showcase helped Ashley to develop an even stronger relationship with her MADDRAMA brothers and sisters as well as develop a stronger love for the organization. In the spring of 2012 she realized she wanted to play a more vital role within the organization and won the vote of Secretary of 2012-2013 school year.
Ashley's love for this superb organization has grown more and more everyday. Ashley will be graduating Spring 2013 and feels a desire to leave her mark and be a role model for the newest scene as well as her peers. She doesn't want anything more than to see MADDRAMA Performance Troupe grow to richer and higher heights, to prosper, and to be known as one of the best performing arts organizations to ever do it!
Ashley lives by this biblical verse as daily motivation: Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
