After years of struggling, his family was greatly blessed and he was given a scholarship to enroll in private school from sixth to ninth grade. For his 10th grade year, he was re-enrolled in public school at Hinds County Agricultural High School.
During his 11th grade year, his life went through some major changes. He was also re-enrolled in the private school, Hillcrest Christian High School. He spent his senior year at the prestigious Vicksburg High School. While in high school, he was a member of over 50 different organizations, which include the school bands and student government.
Today, he is a junior Speech Communication major with a minor in Political Science at Jackson State University where he is a member of over 21 different organizations including Tiger P.R.I.D.E. Connections.  He now enjoys spending time with his new baby sister Paris M. D. He is an overall good guy who hopes to one day become a successful national criminal defense lawyer and an international cooperate attorney. He also hopes to have his dream home built in either Chicago, IL or Dallas, TX where he will live with his four children and a fish. His favorite movie and stage play is “Chicago ” and loves to read and write; in fact, he is currently working on a book titled The Last Joel.
